ABOUT
Lida Everhart is a queer filmmaker and photographer hailing from Denver, Colorado.
While attending Denver School of the Arts for Creative Writing in middle and high school, Lida developed an interest in film and photography. She created a graduation portrait business and participated in the Project NEXT film internship through the Denver Film Society.
At Emerson College, she majored in Media Arts Production with a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and found herself drawn to queer, kitsch, experimental, dark comedy, and horror film genres.
Lida has been involved in 22 film productions during her time at Emerson, and is most interested in producing, directing, cinematography, and casting. Her directorial projects have screened at GRRL Haus and New Filmmakers New York. In addition to film, she is the co-photo director for Emerson's art publication EM Magazine. Her photos have been published in Emerson magazine INDEX as well as Luna Collective and Living Zine.
