Lida Everhart is a film producer and director working in Boston, MA.
In undergrad at Emerson College, she discovered a passion for unconventional media. Her focus is on narrative and commercial film that centers queerness and otherness, taboos, and hybrid-genres. She also has a vested interest in horror, parody, and kitsch.

Her thesis film Something's Wrong With Kit explores eating disorders in young women through a horror-driven analogy. It was created with help from the Andrea Montoni Catalyst Film Fund and is currently in the festival circuit, screening at festivals like Boston Short Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, Chattanooga, Junk Dump Magazine Film Festival at the Museum of the Moving Image, and more.
Her other notable directorial work, Graysen's Room, was awarded the Singular Vision Award presented by BlackMagic at the Emerson Film Festival.

Her producing work spans music videos to short films to documentary projects. Her most recent producing ventures include queer comedy "Benchwarmer" by Rose Hanish and Julia Cross, queer fantasy short "Cauldrons and Kickflips" by Ella Bee Fields and "Bunk Beds" by Alexa Back.
