Lida Everhart is a photographer and filmmaker located in Boston, MA.
Originally from Denver, Everhart moved to Boston to attend Emerson College with a major in Media Arts Production and a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. During her years in undergrad she found herself drawn to queer, experimental, dark comedy, and horror film genres. Her belief that women and queer people should take up more space in the creative industry informs all of her work.
Her thesis film Something's Wrong With Kit explores eating disorders in young women through a horror-driven analogy. It was created with help from the Andrea Montoni Catalyst Film Fund and is currently in the festival circuit, screening at festivals like Big Apple Film Festival, Chattanooga, Boston Short Film Festival, and more. Her other notable directorial work, Graysen's Room, was awarded the Singular Vision Award presented by BlackMagic at the Emerson Film Festival.

Her producing work spans music videos to short films to documentary projects. Her most recent producing ventures include queer fantasy short "Cauldrons and Kickflips" by Ella Bee Fields and "Bunk Beds" by Alexa Back.
